I'm Shannah (31), the face and crochet hook behind Little Whiskers Crochet .
My adventure began in 2023 when I first picked up my crochet hook.
What started with a ball of yarn and a healthy dose of curiosity quickly blossomed into a true passion—especially when I discovered the world of Amigurumi. The adorable cuddly toys, whimsical patterns, and endless possibilities immediately appealed to me. As a true animal lover, this was the chance to combine my two great loves—animals and crochet!
In early 2025, I decided to share my love and start a small business. That's how Little Whiskers Crochet was born, and my cuddly toys can now embark on new adventures!
What's so fun about crocheting?
The moment a simple thread transforms into a sweet plush toy with its own unique character. From the first stitch to the last eye, I savor every moment. And although I often sigh and groan—when another thread breaks or I lose count—I forget all about it once the last arm is tied and I hold the plush toy in my hands.
That remains a magical moment!

Caution! Cats in the neighborhood!
Of course, I'm all about the stuffed animals, but I do want to warn you about my three "helpers": Loki, Voodoo, and Calypso. They love to be around me when I'm crocheting, preferably on top of the stuffed animals. Although I do my best to keep everything clean, it's possible that some cat hair might get caught in the process.
So if you're sensitive to cats, keep this in mind when ordering. Health comes first!
